Bio Concept fortification system is an effective method of protecting earthworks from the destructive effects of soil erosion. Suitable for use on embankments and slopes, this proven system is a merge of Biotextile Geosynthetic material and Geogrids to provide effective technical and biological stabilisation from the moment of installation.

This method assumes the use of the following materials; Biotextile with a mix of sown plants, Geogrids of land and humus filling Geogrid.
Materials used:
- Biotextile – is a material designed specifically for this system. It is made from biodegradable sugar beet fibre (additional fertilizer) and its structure contains evenly distributed (and spatially separated) seeds of a special mixture of grasses and legumes. This enables fast sodding and deep rooting to ensure even biological stabilisation on the treated surface.
- Geogrid – is a spatial structure similar in appearance to a honeycomb. It is made of band belts with high density polyethylene (HDPE), double-sided textured, combined deep series of ultrasonic spot welds.
