Where riverbanks and shorelines are subjected to erosive conditions and continuous flow rates, GEOGRID-3D Geocells can be an effective means of reinforcement. They help stabilise the soil, prevent erosion and encourage vegetative growth.

Ideal for variable flow rates.
Suitable for low or high flows, intermittent or continuous, GEOGRID-3D cellular system provides protection from even the highest velocities. In contrast to lining with loose aggregates, GEOGRID-3D confines the material in each cell ensuring that they remain in place.
Natural appearance on upper banks.
Cells can be infilled with topsoil on the upper banks allowing vegetation to establish for additional protection and anchorage similar to slope protection. Vegetative cover also provides a more natural, environmentally friendly appearance.
Liner protection.
GEOGRID-3D can also protect Geomembrane-lined channels and containment systems.
