Multi-use Geotextile fabrics.

Geotextiles are permeable, textile fabrics produced with the loose polymeric fibers (polypropylene PP or polyester PES) as the fiber layer. Either orderly or randomly oriented, connected by chemical cure or thermal bonding, or mechanical needling or stitching. When used in association with soil, they have multiple applications and can be used to separate, filter, reinforce, protect or drain. Our standard Geotextiles are ideally suited to deliver both separation and drainage.

Applications:

  • Paved roads and parking.
  • Temporary roads and footpaths.
  • Railways
  • Embankments
  • Reservoirs
  • Canals
Geotextiles

Separation of weak soils to improve structural stability.

To improve the structural stability of a granular layer on soft soil foundations, Geotextiles can be laid to separate the layers. This ensures that when load pressure is added, there is no contamination and mixing of layers which could cause the structure to weaken and pothole over time. Ideal for extending the life of roads, pavements and temporary road surfaces located in difficult soil conditions.

Geotextiles

Prevent silting fine-grained soil in drainage systems.

Our Geotextiles can also perform as a primer for granular drains or Geogrid/Geocell construction to protect them from the ingress of fines.
